What inspires your work?

My passion is to serve & create systems that assure the community receives the best quality health care, which saves lives. Federally qualified health centers do just that, by providing preventive and primary medical care that positively impacts daily living.

What makes Charlotte special?

While Charlotte is a progressive city, it still has old-school charm. It provides all seasons and has easy access to lakes, oceans and mountains. a beautiful city with a thriving culture and a friendly population. 

Who is/was your greatest inspiration and why?

Besides my biggest fan and hero, My Mom, Ida Weeks, there is also Dr. Jack Geiger, who began FQHC’s, Dr. C.W. Williams, who founded C.W. Williams Community Health Center, Inc. and Dr. Ophelia Garmon-Brown, whose passion for Community was unceasing!
